Silo contains a number of reports available to help you manage your data. There are two categories of report:
To access the Quick Report, click Reports on the top menu bar and then Quick on the left-hand menu:
You will then be presented with a series of checkboxes which allow you to customise the results:
By default, the export will only contain basic fields such as name, email address, age etc. You can tick any of the following boxes to add fields to the export:
You can also click any of the coloured pins – if these are selected, it will limit the report to members with that pin (see section 4.4 – Using Pins for more info).
Summary reports allow you to export various different types of data from Silo. The reports currently available are as follows:
More reports will also be added in the future.
There are three options for each report:
This report allows you to export the members in your county who are currently listed as banned or suspended. It will also include details of when the ban/suspension expires (if applicable). Please note that this will only include members you have permission to see on Silo (i.e. members from your own county). If you need to check banned members from other counties, please refer to the full NFYFC Banned List which is shared at regular intervals by the NFYFC Office.
By clicking the config button on this report, you can choose which organisation to export members from (e.g. you could limit it to a specific club).
This report allows you to export members currently to assigned to a certain role(s).If you click the Export button, it will download all roles currently assigned to your county. Alternatively, if you click Config then you can choose the following options:
Pins are a useful way of using the reports to select a small number of members. The most common use of them will be when you are exporting teams for a competition, and only want the details for a handful of members.
To pin a member, first go to the members list for whichever club the member is in and find them on the list. Next to their name you will see four pins as follows:
Click the pin you want to assign to the member and then make sure you save the changes by clicking Update Pins at the bottom of the screen.
You can export members with a particular pin by using the Quick Report feature (covered in another section of this guide) and clicking the pin you want before exporting the results.
Note: you can also update pins from the search results on the Find a Member page.
To clear members from a particular pin, currently you will need to find them and then unclick the pin, and save the changes.
