Donate to NFYFC

Donate to NFYFC

Donations to NFYFC can make a significant difference to our members. Every year NFYFC needs to fundraise for specific elements of our programming, and many elements of our work are difficult to fund.

Fantastic opportunities like Train-the-Trainer, Chairs' Weekend, the Youth Forum Residential, elements of the Competitions Programme, and many more – are financially unsupported.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused considerable challenges for the county federations and also at NFYFC and we have been using our reserves whilst stability returns. The options to donate below are ways that you can choose to support our work:

Donate

NFYFC is a charitable organisation. We are not a registered charity - we are a Friendly Society with Special Authority. We are recognised as charitable by HMRC and we can claim gift aid on any donations. NFYFC is a small organisation but we make a big impact. All donations big or small are received by NFYFC with thanks and put to good use.

Looking for a project to support? If there is a specific part of YFC life that you love or particularly value that you would like to support, such as competitions, please find the means to donate specifically to those areas of our work via our fundraising wall.

We have options for you to donate generally to NFYFC or you can choose specific appeals. Our fundraising wall also allows you to choose between making a one-off donation or choosing monthly donations.

Donate or fundraise in memory

Thank you for considering donating in memory of someone special. You could choose to create an online giving page that can bring people together, share memories and raise funds in honour of a loved one using JustGiving. We are registered with the platform and it provides a straightforward way to create a page in memory whilst also fundraising for a cause.

Alternatively, we can receive direct donations and funeral collections. You can donate to NFYFC either online, or by cheque. Please include details of who the donation is in memory of. Cheques should be made payable to NFYFC and to our address at: YFC Centre, Unit 178/9, 10th Street, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2LG

If you are a funeral director and would like us to provide gift aid envelopes please get in touch with sophie.willingale@nfyfc.org.uk

Gifts in Wills and leaving a legacy

NFYFC relies on income from donations, including from legacies to support our work. Legacies left to YFC have been, and still are hugely instrumental in supporting our current and future work.

Leaving a gift in a will is a great way for you to leave a lasting legacy, and it can allow a person’s passions in life to continue supporting others in the future. Your gift will only be used for the purpose you intend it for. This could be for anything you like, such as supporting the YFC Competitions programme or providing leadership training to YFC office holders.

We are incredibly grateful that you might consider a gift to us and we are happy to talk any queries through with you if you need it. If you decide to include NFYFC in your Will please use our full name: The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs and our address: YFC Centre, Unit 178/9, 10th Street, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2LG.
