This privacy policy explains how the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, membership systems and other digital services.

In this document, The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs will sometimes be referred to as “we” or “NFYFC”.
NFYFC will only ever ask for personal data if it is required for a specific purpose; with that in mind we have created a full list of all the kinds of personal data that we may ask individuals to provide in order to achieve those purposes. The kinds of personal data we may collect in order to facilitate the delivery of our goods and services are:

For determining when personal data should be erased we shall take into consideration the amount of and sensitivity of the personal data we have, the amount of harm that could be caused by a data breach, the benefits of the purposes the data is being used for and any legal requirements such as health and safety that we are bound to. Where we are required to keep personal data for safeguarding reasons, it will be kept until the data subject reaches normal retirement age or for 10 years - whichever is longer.

The NFYFC Member App is provided as a service to registered members of the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC). The app allows members to securely access their membership information and a range of member services.
When you use the Member App, we may process information including:
To help us improve the Member App, we collect information about how the app is used. This may include events such as signing in, viewing the digital membership card, accessing different sections of the app and interacting with announcements or other content.
This information is used to understand usage trends, improve functionality, diagnose technical issues and monitor the performance of the service. We do not use this information for advertising purposes.
If you choose to allow notifications, the Member App may send you notifications relating to your membership, announcements, competitions, training, safeguarding or other NFYFC services.
You can change your notification preferences at any time through your device's settings.
The Member App uses secure connections to communicate with NFYFC systems. Your account is protected using your existing NFYFC membership credentials, and access to your personal information is restricted to authorised users and systems.
The Member App may contain links to NFYFC websites or third-party websites, including partner organisations providing member benefits or services. When you leave the Member App, the privacy practices of those websites will apply, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
