6-10 October 2025
National Young Farmers’ Week is a week-long celebration of all things YFC and this year we're celebrating how YFC makes a difference in our rural communities and in our lives.
NFYFC will be 100 in seven years time, and this National Young Farmers' Week, we're kicking off our seven year campaign to show how YFC Makes a Difference!
We want YFCs to get involved by recording their many acts of community kindness over the next seven years. Every act of kindness leaves a boot print as we walk towards 100 years of YFC impact in rural communities. And we thought National Young Farmer's Week was a great place to start shouting about the positive community impact YOU make!
There are lots of ways you and your YFC can get involved in National Young Farmers' Week this year and we hope you'll join us in celebrating the best rural youth organisation!
1. Club challenge: Take part in our club challenge to build a scarecrow scene in your rural community, promoting how your YFC makes a difference. Find out more.
2. Acts of kindness: Complete an act of kindness in your local community – from cooking up a big breakfast in the village hall to organising a litter pick – we want to record all the impact YFCs are making as we head towards NFYFC's centenary year.
2. YFC Food Drop: Involve your YFC in the YFC Food Drop on 7 October by collecting essential supplies for your local food bank. Take a photo and complete our online form to share how many bags you collected.
3. Dear Future Me... NFYFC is 100 in 2032, we want YFCs and members to write a letter to their future selves. What are you hoping to achieve in YFC by 2032? More details coming soon.
4. Social media: Share how your club Makes a Difference by posting on social media during National Young Farmers' Week (6-10 October 2025). Toolkit with graphics and templates coming soon!
