NFYFC Council is a body consisting of elected members from county federations across England and Wales. These council members are elected by YFC members to represent their views and help to shape NFYFC policy. Council also consists of steering groups which lead on specialist areas.

Steering Groups are groups which lead on a specific area of expertise, and feed decisions back into Council. These steering groups are as follows:
Each YFC Area chooses two of their Council members to attend each steering group. The groups meet a number of times each year (both online and face-to-face).
