How to get involved on Monday 5 October 2026

Club Challenge

Start sharing your videos or photos* of your scarecrow scenes in our club challenge. Remember you only have until Friday 9 October to enter the challenge by submitting your photo in our online form. Tag NFYFC in your posts and use the hashtag #BelongAtYFC.

AGRI Ambition

NFYFC is officially launching the AGRI Ambition paper – Proud to Farm. It sets out YFC AGRI’s ambition for a future in farming, reflecting YFC members’ voices. Look out for the announcements and help share the messages so they’re heard far and wide.

Stories of Belonging

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing YFC members’ stories of belonging in YFC. Why not start recording stories from your members ready to share during the week? If filming isn’t your thing, then write down comments or ask members to write them on our posters, and take photos to share online. Sharing your members’ stories about being part of YFC can encourage other young people to want to join your club! Tag NFYFC and we can share them too!

Dear Future Me...

Send yourself a message to open in 2032! We want all our clubs and members to write a letter to their future selves. You don’t have to write a letter, you can record a video or leave an online message in our Dear Future Me vault.

Your letter should include:

• Reflection on current achievements and involvement in YFC.
• Acknowledge things you have found challenging and areas where you would like to improve.
• What you hope your future self will be doing in 2032 and what you would like to have achieved by then.

In seven years' time, we’ll ask you to open your letters and reflect on where you are now.

We will be sharing template graphics for clubs and individuals to use on social media to promote the highlights of their Dear Future Me plans.

*All under 18s must have a signed parental consent form before a photo is shared of them on social media.
