This National Young Farmers' Week, we're calling on all our clubs to create a scarecrow scene in a public place that helps promote your YFC.
We want your scenes to reflect the spirit of YFC and how your club belongs to your rural community – through your many acts of kindness locally and the support you give to rural young people.
Let's spread a lot of joy this National Young Farmers' Week and help raise awareness of all the great work YFCs do!
This year's Scarecrow Challenge judge is farmer and TV presenter Dave Nicholson from Cannon Hall Farm. Dave is a regular on Springtime on the Farm and The Yorkshire Vet and also appeared on the flagship Channel 5 programme The Great Yorkshire Show.
A good farm thrives when everything works together, and communities are no different.
I'm excited to see the scarecrow scenes that celebrate belonging and showcase how Young Farmers’ Clubs bring people together.
Be creative, have fun, and let's spread a little joy through our villages and countryside.
