After the conclusion of the AMC, young farmers supported a new AGRI Forum - Proud to Farm – an event developed for discussion about industry opportunities and challenges with NFU Cymru President Abi Reader, NAAC CEO Jill Hewitt and RABI’s Head of External Affairs Sandy Kapila.
Led by YFC AGRI Chair Nathan Greenwood and supported by his vice chair Jess Radnor, topics ranged from challenging the current culture of farm safety, contracting and future farming opportunities and personal and professional resilience. Young farmers and speakers alike found action points to take away and welcomed the honest and reflective conversation.
