YFC AGRI is encouraging YFC members to join them at one of the UK’s largest festivals to learn more about regenerative farming systems, with an exclusive 35% discount on tickets.
YFC AGRI’s Study Tour is attending the Groundswell Festival this year and is encouraging more YFC members to take part from 1-2 July 2025 at Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire.
Groundswell provides a forum for farmers, growers, or anyone interested in food production and the environment to learn about the theory and practical applications of regenerative farming systems.
Festival organisers are also offering YFC members a 35% discount on tickets, making the weekend more affordable.
YFC AGRI Vice Chair Fergus Starkey who is helping to organise the study tour, said:
“There’s a wealth of food, drink and entertainment on offer as well as a diverse mix of stands, presenters and on-farm visits and demonstrations.
“The venue provides easy access from the campsites and is small enough not to get lost but offers a wealth of information and experiences. Although I’m organising a dedicated YFC AGRI tour, as people book their own tickets and make their own travel arrangements, it will be good to see a range of interested (18 and over) YFC members at the event.”
Last year, NFYFC took YFC members to Groundswell to take part in its How Farming Can Cool the Planet project. Positive feedback from the event has inspired YFC AGRI to make the festival the location for its study tour this year.
YFC members can choose to purchase day tickets or stay over by camping – the campsite opens on 1 July. A range of tickets are available to purchase on the Groundswell website and YFC members should select the ‘student ticket’ option when prompted to obtain a 35% discount.
