Join our transformative initiative in Cambodia, where you will provide vital support to schools, childcare centres, and rural farming communities. Many local educational facilities currently face significant shortages in both staff and resources, while rural areas often depend on traditional agricultural methods that can be physically demanding.
On this programme, you will play a hands-on role in both education and sustainable development. You will work alongside local teachers to lead classroom activities, engage with children through developmental play, and contribute to physical infrastructure projects like building school vegetable gardens and completing essential renovation work.
Beyond the classroom, you will gain a deep understanding of traditional Khmer life through an immersive agricultural stay on rural farms. This journey also offers a profound exploration of Cambodia's complex history and vibrant culture, from the solemn sites of Phnom Penh to the breathtaking ancient temples of Angkor Wat. By participating, you help ensure a brighter future for the local community while gaining an unforgettable global perspective.
Assist local teachers in schools and childcare centres by delivering classroom activities, supporting early childhood development, and engaging children through learning and play.
Contribute to long-term community initiatives, including the creation of a school vegetable garden and hands-on renovation work to improve learning environments.
Gain insight into traditional Cambodian farming practices through visits to rural farms producing rice, pepper, silk, and fresh produce, including an overnight stay in basic conditions for authentic cultural immersion.
Explore Cambodia’s complex history through guided visits to the Killing Fields, Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and the Royal Palace, complemented by a traditional Cambodian puppet performance.
