Dedicated young farmer programme at Cereals 2025

Young farmers are invited to a specially selected next generation programme of events on the first day of Cereals 2025 (11-12 June) – and tickets are free for YFC members to attend.

The Young Farmers' stage, which is sponsored by Michelmores, will be chaired by NFYFC’s Chair of Council James Nixey. Cereals 2025 is hosted by Andrew Ward MBE at Heath Farm, Leadenham, Lincolnshire LN5 0QE.

YFC members can start the day at the free breakfast and networking session, sponsored by the NFU, before engaging in sessions on succession and farm diversification, as well as exploring the latest innovations in farming.

YFC members can also enjoy a careers luncheon where a panel will cover a wide range of current career opportunities in the UK as well as those that are set to emerge over the coming years.

With plenty of opportunities to network and hear from industry leaders, the event promises to be an informative and inspiring opportunity for young farmers looking to enhance their careers.

NFYFC Chair James Nixey said:

“I’m really excited to be chairing the Young Farmers' stage at Cereals 2025 and introducing leading industry guest speakers who will be sharing their knowledge on such a wide range of topics.

"This is a great opportunity for YFC members to hear from the experts and network to improve their future career prospects. The tickets are free – so what are you waiting for?”

YFC members can get free tickets to Cereals 2025 and Cereals 2026 – which will be hosted by Jeremy Clarkson at Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
