Amy has dedicated almost three decades to Young Farmers, supporting members at club, county, area and national level since first joining as a 10-year-old member. Having held roles including Club Chair, County Chair, South East Area Chair and NFYFC Personal Development Chair, she continues to dedicate her time as Club Leader of Bicester and Islip Junior YFC.

Amy’s commitment has been instrumental in growing and strengthening the club, particularly through the challenges of the Covid pandemic, when she kept members connected through online activities and helped rebuild participation afterwards. She works hard to create opportunities for young people, encouraging members to develop new skills, build confidence and take part in competitions and events.

Amy aims to make every member feel welcome and supported, whether mentoring young people, raising funds for county activities or championing opportunities across the wider Federation. She is passionate about ensuring future generations enjoy the same life-changing experiences that YFC gave her.

David has devoted more than 40 years to supporting Young Farmers, making an impressive contribution at club, county, area and national level. A former club member who has gone on to hold numerous leadership roles, including County Trustee, Chair of the Staffordshire YFC Staff Management Committee and Life Vice President of both Staffordshire and NFYFC, David is a trusted source of guidance, knowledge and support for generations of members.

What sets David apart is his hands-on commitment. Whether maintaining county facilities, managing health and safety, coordinating major events, supporting tractor runs, overseeing YFC bars, providing technical expertise or helping deliver competitions in Staffordshire and nationally, he is always the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Known for his reliability, practical problem-solving and quiet leadership, David plays a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring activities run safely and successfully. Respected by members of all ages, he continues to give his time, skills and experience selflessly, making a lasting impact on Staffordshire YFC and throughout the Federation.

David has dedicated an incredible 52 years to Young Farmers, supporting generations of members at club, county, Wales and national level. A lifelong supporter of Builth Wells YFC, he has served as a club leader, County Chair, County Vice President and now President of Wales YFC, providing guidance, encouragement and leadership throughout his decades of service.

David has devoted countless hours to helping members develop confidence and skills through competitions, public speaking, performing arts and community projects. His farm has effectively become a home for the club, storing scenery, costumes and equipment built up over many years, all of which he generously shares with other clubs.

He has also produced numerous award-winning productions, achieving seven National Finals appearances and four national titles. Passionate about inclusion and supporting others, David has inspired generations of young people to step outside their comfort zones and achieve more than they thought possible.

Joy has been a dedicated supporter of YFC for many years, making an outstanding contribution at club, county and South West Area level.

A former Somerset YFC County Chair and Management Chair, she continues to support members as President of Ilminster YFC and is widely known for her kindness, encouragement and commitment to the organisation. Joy is at the heart of countless YFC activities, from volunteering and catering at events to organising the South West Area Junior Camp for the past decade, helping hundreds of young members build confidence, friendships and lasting memories.

She is often the first person members turn to for advice and support, always willing to listen and help without seeking recognition. Passionate about ensuring young people make the most of every opportunity YFC offers, Joy leads by example and continuously promotes the benefits of being part of the organisation.

Kathleen has been a dedicated supporter of YFC for more than 45 years, giving her time, knowledge and enthusiasm to generations of members across club, district and county level in Cumbria. A former national-level competitor, she has since become a mentor, organiser, steward, judge and President, always encouraging others to develop their skills and make the most of every YFC opportunity.

Perhaps best known for her long-standing commitment to stockjudging, Kathleen has helped countless members build confidence, knowledge and communication skills through training, roadshows and competition preparation. She has also been a big support to many club and county events, serving as Chief Industrial Steward at Cumbria YFC’s Northern District Field Day for 29 consecutive years and supporting fundraising and community activities at Penrith YFC.

Kathleen is often the person members turn to for advice and encouragement. Her impact is reflected in the confidence and achievements of the many young people she has inspired throughout her YFC journey.
