• British Wool process tours show you how wool goes from fleece to yarn.
• Travel to Wool House, Bradford to explore everything that happens at British Wool and see a live auction.
• Tour British Wool’s Bradford Depot to see and learn how wool’s graded and packed.
• Chat over lunch and then hop on a British Wool minibus to tour a scouring plant in Bradford and see the process of washing and combing wool.

If you have 12 keen young farmers who are 18 or over, this is a day not to be missed for a full insight into the wool process.

YFC Member Offer from British Wool

British Wool will be offering a 50% discount on shearing courses for YFC members in 2024. 

The British Wool 50% discount to YFC affiliated members for machine and Blade shearing courses at any level of experience will be available from 1 January 2024. This offer can be used as many times as the YFC member wishes, but registration must take place before 31 March to a designated county contact which will be available from 1 January. (Parental consent will be a requirement for YFC members applying who are under 18 – eligibility from 16 years of age.)
