Nominations open for Council roles

Nominations are open for the positions of Chair and Vice Chairs of NFYFC’s Council for 2025-26.

Members of NFYFC Council have until Monday 20 January to nominate the people they wish to stand for these positions.

Eligibility to nominate

All proposers and seconders must:

• be YFC members, with a current YFC membership (as recorded on the SILO portal on the day of signing the form)
• be a full county elected member of the 2025 NFYFC Council for the period January to December 2025. This is checked against the information the NFYFC has received from your county federation/minutes of the county executive meeting where you were appointed to the NFYFC Council for the 2025 year.

OR

• be Current Chairs of the 2024/2025 Area Committees or the 2024/2025 Chair of Wales FYFC.

NOTE: Co-opted members of the 2024 Council are not eligible to make proposals or second a proposal.

All those being nominated must have agreed to stand for office and have signed the nomination form.

• be full county elected members of the 2025 NFYFC Council for the period January to December 2025 or Chair of an Area Committee or the 2024/2025 Chair of Wales FYFC.

The deadline for receiving completed nomination forms is 12 noon, Monday 20 January 2025. All those being nominated for Chair or Vice Chair, must complete the expression of interest/application form by the same deadline.
