A new digital resource containing essential information on opportunities in agriculture and the rural economy is now available on the NFYFC website.
The AGRI Hub development project was one of the three 2024-25 NFYFC projects supported by Defra. It aims to make the many YFC AGRI resources, information and guides on key topics such as agricultural training opportunities, farm visits, podcasts and skills’ development, more accessible for YFC members.
The AGRI HUB also includes an explanation of YFC AGRI and how members’ voices are represented during this challenging time of agricultural transition.
The new Hub is part of NFYFC’s continued digitalisation to ensure YFC members have easy access to opportunities and resources.
YFC AGRI Chair Robbie Tuer said the YFC AGRI Hub was much needed by young farmers.
“We’re proud to be launching the YFC AGRI Hub as it’s a brilliant example of our continued collaboration with industry and government to ensure the next generation can access information to further their development.
“YFC AGRI is committed to representing the voices of YFC members on issues relating to agriculture and rural life. We hope this new Hub will be a useful resource for those looking to gain more understanding of the changes in the industry and the opportunities within it, as well as providing club programming ideas and support.”
Information and new materials will continue to be added to the AGRI Hub and the resources are available to all next generation farmers and YFC members.
The next YFC AGRI meeting is on 13 May from 7.30 pm. Please contact Sarah Palmer if you would like to attend. The meeting is open to all.
