The Society of Agriculture is offering YFC members a limited opportunity to take part in the next Society of Agriculture Ambassador Training session, on Monday 18 May 2026 at NFYFC’s offices in Stoneleigh.
As the Society of Agriculture prepares for its upcoming public launch, a network of Society of Agriculture Ambassadors is being developed to help champion professionalism across UK agriculture and support the sector’s journey towards chartered status.
This full-day, interactive training programme is designed for individuals who are active in the sector and interested in developing their professional voice within agriculture.
Delivered by Anna Jones and Angus Chalmers, the training focuses on building confidence in communication, storytelling, networking and stakeholder engagement, while also providing a deeper understanding of the Society’s purpose and mission.
Participants will explore how to communicate messages effectively, develop their own professional narrative within agriculture, and practise presenting key messages to a range of audiences.
Those who complete the training and take on the role will be recognised as Society of Agriculture Ambassadors, including being featured on the Society’s website and able to reference the role in professional profiles and CVs.
