Farm Visits
Nothing beats getting out on farm and picking up ideas and learning new ways of working. NFYFC’s YFC AGRI group regularly organise farm visits so look out for ones that are being advertised for members to join.
In the meantime, why not contact a demonstration farm network, university or research centre to broaden your farming horizon?
Visit a farm
- The LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) network consists of LEAF Demonstration Farms – working farms committed to delivering and promoting sustainable farming practices and LEAF Innovation Centres – research establishments pioneering new approaches to push forward the boundaries of Integrated Farm Management (IFM) through research and development. The interactive map on their website will help you search for farms near you.
- The Nature Friendly Farming Network events include online sessions and in-person workshops focused on sharing knowledge and insights into nature-friendly farming.

- The UK Agri-Tech Centre holds events throughout the year that provide collaborative opportunities for business challenges.
