Norton Juxta Blooms
Alex, alongside her brother Chris, has transformed their family arable farm into a rural attraction through the creation of Norton Juxta Blooms. What began as a simple diversification idea has grown into a popular destination, welcoming thousands of visitors to pick-your-own tulip and sunflower fields while showcasing the beauty of the countryside and promoting a greater understanding of farming. Their vision, creativity and hard work have turned an innovative concept into a successful and expanding business.
Beyond its commercial success, Norton Juxta Blooms has become a valuable community asset. Alex and Chris actively support local businesses by promoting locally sourced products, host events for local residents, and provide opportunities for young farmers to come together and learn.
Their commitment to innovation, community engagement and the future of agriculture demonstrates how farming can adapt, inspire others and create meaningful connections between the public and the countryside.

Isla turned a simple idea into a thriving business at just 16 years old after identifying an opportunity for stylish farming-themed phone cases.
She launched Country Cases with a £200 investment and, within a year, has achieved a profitable and rapidly growing business, selling over 1,300 products. Isla has built the business entirely herself, from creating the website and sourcing manufacturers to hand-drawing every design on her iPad.
Balancing her business alongside college, farming, horses and cattle showing, Isla has shown impressive determination, creativity and independence. She continues to reinvest in the company to support its growth while also giving back to Young Farmers through event sponsorship and raffle donations.
Her success at such a young age, combined with her work ethic, makes her an inspiring example of what can be achieved through initiative and hard work.
Devon Country Classroom
Katie has combined her farming roots and teaching expertise to create an innovative farm-based education business on her family’s beef and sheep farm in Devon. After leaving her teaching career to pursue her idea, she developed a classroom and woodland area, providing immersive learning experiences that help children understand farming, food production and the natural environment.
Through school visits, clubs and sessions for home-educated children, Katie is inspiring the next generation while strengthening the connection between agriculture and the wider public. Katie has built an impactful enterprise that delivers both educational and social benefits.
Her work encourages outdoor learning, promotes wellbeing and gives young people hands-on experiences. With plans to develop the business in the future, Katie’s enterprise is creating new opportunities, supporting communities and inspiring others to think differently about the future of farming.
Mollatt’s Farm Butchery
Rob has turned a passion for farming and local food into a successful rural business with the launch of Mollatt’s Farm Butchery in Staffordshire.

Built around high-quality, locally sourced produce, including meat from the family farm, the business champions transparency from farm to fork while providing a valued service to the local community.
