We’ve had an incredibly busy few months packed with fundraising, competitions, and hands-on experiences:
Annual Muck Haul (this weekend!): A major fundraiser where we are set to raise over £1,800 by delivering 300 bags and 80 wheelbarrows of muck to local supporters!
Christmas Tractor Run: Our fifth annual event saw a record-breaking 150 tractors take to the roads, with thousands of spectators travelling from across the North West to watch. This event raised over £10,000 for charity!
Lambing Live: A fantastic hands-on event that gave our non-farming members an opportunity to experience lambing season first-hand and engage with agriculture in a meaningful way.
Clitheroe YFC members love taking part in a huge variety of competitions, from Public Speaking and crafts to Stockjudging.
We’re proud to say that this month, our talented members competed at Northern Area level Public Speaking, securing:
We also had a junior member represent us at county level, after securing 1st place at regional – a fantastic achievement!
We are passionate about giving back, and one of our proudest achievements this month was winning the Not-for-Profit Award at the Ribble Valley Business Awards. This recognition highlights the dedication, hard work, and positive impact our club has in the community.
As Chair of Clitheroe YFC, I am incredibly proud of everything our club has achieved. We are a young, energetic, and enthusiastic club that always looks for ways to grow and support our community.
This year, we have chosen to support The Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies), raising funds and educating our members on mental and physical farm safety, a cause close to our hearts.
March has been an incredible month for Clitheroe YFC, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

We couldn't help but be impressed by Clitheroe YFC's achievements this month – what a busy few weeks they have enjoyed. They stood out due to their dedication, community impact, and commitment to developing their members. As well as their success in YFC competitions – and local Awards – they have provided plenty of opportunities for their members to learn new skills. Well done to everyone involved in this active club.
