Business Challenge entry information for under 18s

Competition details for under 18s

We are looking for innovative ideas that show how you’d like to see your food grown by 2032.

Your entry should:

  • Demonstrate how your innovation will address local community issues, e.g. food security and environmental challenges.
  • Demonstrate how you would engage with your local community and broader networks.
  • Make considerations around any aspects of farm safety.

How to enter

One YFC member under 18 – or three club members who are under 18 – should submit a mood board to demonstrate your business idea. This can be provided on video, PowerPoint or media of your choice to convey your business idea.

To enter, you must be a current YFC member and all entries must be submitted by December 31, 2025 using the online form. Under 18s must also ask a parent or guardian to complete a consent form to give permission for them to take part.
