County Federations are encouraged to use email signatures for all emails published by the YFC county office.
A clear and concise email signature presents the county federation (a charity) professionally. It should state the County Federation’s identity, legal status and contact details. This information enables recipients to have your contact details, including telephone number, and ensures everyone knows that the county federation is a registered charity.
The organisation’s identity, legal status and contact details should appear on publicity materials, letterheads and other stationery, including emails – all publications.
It is increasingly important that such information is on every email due to the rise in cyber fraud and fraudsters attempting to mimic and replicate organisations. A detailed email signature assists recipients to be confident that the email is genuine and is from the county office of the county federation of YFCs.
Please consider adding (and always using) an email signature to the county federation email accounts.
