Clay Pigeon Shooting

The Competitor is required to hit a moving target in the form of a clay pigeon from traps positioned in different places to encourage a range of speed, distance, height and positioning of the clays. Fifty Bird Sporting Shoot.  

All competitors must have completed the BASC ‘Safe Shot’ online theory test in order to take part in this competition.

National Final: Saturday 4 July 2026

Entries Close: 5 June 2026

Venue: Oakedge Shooting Ground, Wolseley Bridges, Staffordshire

 

Checklist of things to bring with you on the day

  • Membership Card
  • Parental Consent Form for all U18s - Copy returned to NFYFC 10 days prior to event
  • Absentee Form - Completed by County Office to be excused from presentation of awards
  • Additional form of ID
  • Your Gun and Gun Licence
  • Suitable Eye, Ear and Head Protection
