How to get involved on Monday 6 October 2025

We’re launching our walk towards 100 and asking clubs to start recording their amazing community work to demonstrate the impact YFC makes.

Club Challenge

Start sharing your videos or photos* of your scarecrow scenes in our club challenge.

Remember you only have until midday on Friday 10 October to share your entry and you will need to tag NFYFC in your posts and use the hashtag #YFCMakesADifference.

Dear Future Me...

Send yourself a message to open in 2032! We want all our clubs and members to write a letter to their future selves. You don’t have to write a letter, you can record a video or leave an online message in our Dear Future Me vault.

Your letter should include:

• Reflection on current achievements and involvement in YFC.
• Acknowledge things you have found challenging and areas where you would like to improve.
• What you hope your future self will be doing in 2032 and what you would like to have achieved by then.

In seven years time, we’ll ask you to open your letters and reflect on where you are now.

We will be sharing template graphics for clubs and individuals to use on social media to promote the highlights of their Dear Future Me plans.

*All under 18s must have a signed parental consent form before a photo is shared of them on social media.
