National Young Farmers' Week, Tuesday 10 October

Activities for Tuesday

Supporting a sustainable future for rural communities!

How to get involved on Tuesday 10 October 2023.

Share your YFC’s community work

We want to hear all about the support your YFC has given the local community – from the fundraisers to the litter picks. Post your photos, share your videos and celebrate how your YFC is part of the community.

YFC Food Drop

Get your YFC to make a local food bank donation and join in with the nationwide YFC Food Drop.

Gather items in the build up to National Young Farmers’ Week and make your donation before or on Community Day (10 October). Take a pic of your produce, and post it on social media, tagging NFYFC and Tama.

Complete the form to let us know how many items your club donated so we can announce a grand YFC total.

Complete the donation form.

Community Spirit finalists

NFYFC will be highlighting the efforts of our clubs that are finalists in the Community Spirit category of the YFC Achiever Awards. Check out some of the reasons they were shortlisted and be inspired by their community work.

Host a Home Grown event

Why not organise an open evening or a new members’ event that involves some local British produce. It’s a good way to promote YFC to your local community and support local food producers. We started Home Grown events last year and we’d love to see more YFCs supporting this positive message. Tag NFYFC in your posts if you’re planning on serving British produce at any of your events.
