Why support NFYFC

Founded more than 90 years ago, the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK. Led by young people, for young people, YFCs provide more than 20,000 members, aged between 10 and 28, with an opportunity to develop skills, work with their local community, travel abroad, take part in a varied competitions programme and enjoy a dynamic social life. This helps to tackle rural isolation and social exclusion, encourages self-reliance, individual responsibility and good citizenship.

NFYFC is a small charitable umbrella organisation. We work to support and capacity build the 46 YFC County Federations as well as our members. Many branches of our work would not be possible without the generous support of our corporate sponsors, private donors and charitable foundations.

There are many ways you can support NFYFC such as;

  • Making a donation
  • Leaving a legacy
  • Becoming a corporate sponsor
  • Providing in-kind support.

Making a donation

NFYFC is registered with JustGiving, which allows for one-off or regular donations as well as BOPP - which allows you to scan a QR code from your phone and make a gift aided donation. All donations will enable NFYFC to support the YFC community.

To donate through our JustGiving page click here, this option allows a donor to cover the processing fee but if you choose not to, then JustGiving will absorb the cost.

To donate through BOPP (which has a 0.5% transaction fee, minimum 5p, max 50p) and which provides a gift aid option, please either go via this link or more simply use your phone camera to scan the QR code here:

If you would like to donate through the post please do so by sending a recorded delivery to NFYFC's Stoneleigh park office address below and please include your details. You may wish to get in touch with us in advance so we can send you a gift aid form or you can download one from here.

Easy Ways to Give

In-kind donations

Many companies support our members through in-kind donations which are extremely valuable to NFYFC. Donations of equipment, venues, materials, staff time and expertise means that we are able to organise projects and competitions that would otherwise be difficult for NFYFC to undertake. If you think you could help us by donating in this way, please contact Sophie Willingale.

Leave a legacy

As a voluntary organisation, NFYFC relies on income from donations including from legacies to support our work. Any gift large or small would be very gratefully received and would help provide vital funds to support the continued and ongoing professional and personal development of our members. If you decide to include NFYFC in your will please use our full name The National Federation of Young Farmers’Clubs and our address: YFC Centre, Unit 178/9, 10th Street, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2LG.
