YFC Isolation Dairy Challenge

Open to all the membership – past, present and future YFC members

Theme:

Connections

Challenge opens:

19 June

Challenge closes:

25 June

Challenge final:

Five of the best entries will go through to the Challenge Final Day on Saturday 11 July. The winner will be decided by a public vote on Instagram and Facebook.

How to take part:

This challenge is to demonstrate how much YFC supports the British dairy industry and we're asking all YFCs to get together to submit a 'club' entry.

In support of the industry's current national #MilkYourMoments campaign, we want YFCs to demonstrate how they are 'connecting' during these challenging times of social distancing.

Your club will need to record a short video (3 mins max) or take a photo that shows your club connecting – and ideally one that involves dairy.

For example, your club could:

  • Host a cheese tasting night over Zoom
  • Someone in the club could host a 'cook along' night – showing everyone in the club how to make a dish that involves dairy products
  • Get together (virtually) while you have an afternoon tea in the garden.
  • A video showing how members of your club are supporting the local community (this could be through delivering milk or other dairy products, alongside other groceries, to vulnerable people).
  • Dairy producers in your club could do a farm tour during a Zoom meeting.

Whatever you decide to do, your video or photo needs to clearly show what you're doing and how the club connected. You can share your videos/photos on social media and tag @NFYFC but we also advise sending your entries via private message to NFYFC's Facebook page or via email to media@nfyfc.org.uk so we can be certain we have it. When sharing on social media, please use #YFCAtHome and #MilkYourMoments.

Please note: We are not looking for clubs to create milk challenges similar to the 'loo roll' challenge. The video/photo needs to show a meaningful connection with your club – this can be through a kind gesture or you all connecting doing an activity together.

Marketing

By entering this competition you give permission for the images to be used by the NFYFC for marketing and promotional purposes. Images may be entered into are finals day on the 11th July 2020.
