Eight Young Farmers’ Clubs are celebrating after making it through to the national final of the Performing Arts competition, sponsored by KUHN.
Performances must be in the form of a ‘drama’ for this year’s competition and clubs are allowed an unlimited cast size ,made up of YFC members.
The final will take place across two days from 20-21 April 2024 in Leamington Spa at the Spa Centre. Judges from The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) will mark performance on the variety and balance, originality and entertainment value, effectiveness of the set, the use of the stage by the performers and the overall effect.
The order of the performances has been set as follows:
The seven finalists of the Senior Member of the Year competition will also take part in stage interviews during the Saturday Drama performances.
The Senior Member of the Year finalists will take to the stage to be asked two questions by the judges that they must answer in front of an audience.
The winner of the Senior Member of the Year competition will be announced later that evening after the Drama performances have concluded.
