Protect your Future campaign 

NFYFC has launched a national campaign to help safeguard the environment for future generations. 

The 2019 campaign was launched to support the Government’s Year of Green Action and the #IWill4Nature campaign. 

With the launch of the Government’s 25-year environmental plan, the #iwill campaign, Defra, and a group of 25 environment and youth-sector partners, of which NFYFC is one, want to keep young people at the heart of environmental social action.

NFYFC’s environmental campaign kicks off with a goal to plant a tree per member in 2019. The Federation is calling on its 615 YFC clubs to work together with their club, neighbouring clubs or their county, to apply to the Woodland Trust for a pack of sapling trees to plant in their local communities. NFYFC will also be developing a range of resources over the coming months to help YFCs proactively engage in the wider campaign to look after the environment.

In the meantime, you can support the campaign by using the hashtag #ProtectYourFuture on posts that promote any environmental community projects your YFC or County is involved in. Look out for posts from the #IWill4Nature and NFYFC too!
