National Young Farmers Week 2017

18-24 September 2017

What is National Young Farmers’ Week #NYFW17?

This year will be our third National Young Farmers’ Week and the aim is to get all our YFCs involved in helping to promote how great it is to be part of this amazing Federation! The aim of the week is to raise awareness of the work all of our YFCs do with young people and in their local communities as well as encourage more members to join the organisation.

This year it’s all about celebrating the amazing benefits of being part of one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK. While Young Farmers can never be accused of being shy, we have been quiet in telling the world how fantastic it is to be part of NFYFC.

So, we’re asking all our clubs to take a selfie, wearing their club shirts with pride and show in one photo why it’s great to be part of your YFC. You can find out more about our photo competition here.

We have also produced a range of resources for YFCs to use to help them promote a new members event, social media graphics to help you show your love for YFC online, and gudiance for hosting a members' event and producing a great Club Programme..

During the week, we will be focusing on a different theme each day, these are:

Monday: Friendship

Tuesday: Education and training

Wednesday: Networking opportunities

Thursday: Offers/discounts

Friday: Broaden your horizons

Saturday: Awards and achievements

Sunday: Life skills and opportunities

Whichever way your club or county chooses to get involved, we hope you enjoy the week and shouting about how amazing it is to be part of NFYFC! Please tag NFYFC in your social media posts so we know what you're up to and send any news and photos to
