Community and Archaeology Trip to Peru

NFYFC has teamed up with Projects Abroad to offer YFC members, aged over 18, this exciting opportunity to take part in a volunteering trip to Peru this summer.

The trip will give a cultural overview of the Incan civilisation and provide the chance for YFC members to take their skills overseas to help communities alongside other YFC members from across the UK.

We have one last minute space that has become available

Saturday 6 August 2022 – Saturday 20 August 2022

A mixture of agricultural, archaeological, and cultural volunteering and sight-seeing experiences.

Week one

Centred on volunteering in the community in Cusco. This could include helping to build a school or planting crops for locals, for example.

A weekend of sightseeing follows with a trip to Machu Picchu.

Week two

This time will be focused on archaeology and YFC members are invited to join Projects Abroad Archaeologist, Daniel O’Shea in ‘The Sacred Valley’ to learn about ancient Incan civilisation.

The total cost of this opportunity is £1,420.00 plus flight costs. Flight costs from London Heathrow to Lima, Peru are around £1,020.00 return price.

If for any reason NFYFC are unable to organise travel to Peru in 2022 an alternative destination will be sought.

There is one last minute space now available on this trip due to someone having to withdraw from the trip. Complete this form before 20 July, 2022. You will need to be a full YFC member of a club affiliated to NFYFC and be aged over 18.

If you would like any more information on the trip, please contact Lauren Hancox or call on 07823 884659.
