Sid Perry, one of NFYFC’s Life Vice Presidents who had been involved in the Federation for 80 years, sadly passed away in January.

Sid attended his first Young Farmers’ Club meeting in 1937 at Wincanton YFC and held the posts of Club Chairman and Club Leader before later becoming County Chairman for both Dorset and Somerset.

Sid continued to be heavily involved with the Federation in the South West Area throughout his life and was made a Life Vice President of the national Federation in 2007. His absence will be felt deeply throughout the Federation.

To read more about Sid’s life and long association with NFYFC, take a look at the tributes below from those who knew him best.
