YFC at Home Isolation Show Guide

It’s that time of the year when many of us are used to being busy preparing for rallies and county shows. We’re normally creating odd structures or turning the kitchen upside down as we practise our latest creations in preparation for competitions. There’s the excitement of creating promotional materials, organising the catering and liaising with the club about schedules.

These early summer months are when YFCs unite with clubs from across the county, sharing good times and making memories. And we know it’s one of the activities YFC members will be missing the most right now.

So, while we can’t have a real show, we can help you to enjoy a virtual one! We have created this fun activity pack to help re-create the ‘show’ experience at home. There’s the bunting and the wristbands – and a whole host of activities to keep you and the family amused for an afternoon of ‘show’ style entertainment.

You could host your own fundraiser to raise money for the farming charities or the NHS as well as organise some evening entertainment with a club quiz (we’ve provided some questions to help get you started!)

We’d love to see your ‘show at home’ photos, so please share them on social media or send them to us at If you’re under 18, please ask a parent to indicate if they are happy for the photos to be used on social media and in any other NFYFC promotional materials.

We hope you have fun taking part in these activities while you’re staying safe at home.
