New climate change guide

NFYFC’s new climate change guide has been created to help young farmers be inspired to help the industry reach its ambition of net zero carbon emissions by 2040.

The guide is supported by Defra and in association with the NFU and Championing the Farmed Environment (CFE).

For a glossary of environmental terms, check out the Prince's Countryside Fund's A-Zero, A Farmers Guide to Breaking Free From Environmental Jargon here.

The NFYFC Climate Change Guide includes:

  • A foreword from David Kennedy, Defra’s Director General for Food, Farming and Biosecurity
  • NFYFC’s 2020 Climate Change Video Challenge winners
  • Videos from the winners
  • FAQs
  • Case studies
  • References for more information from the NFU and CFE to help young farmers better understand the climate challenge and how to help tackle it.
